Hairy Woodpecker in the Snow

This Hairy Woodpecker posed perfectly for the camera at Washington Pass in North Cascades National Park during my camping trip. I rented equipment from WSU's Outdoor Recreation Center and spent the night in below-freezing temperatures looking forward to getting shots like this the following morning.
