Brisbane Recycling 738 - Chopout Run in Mansfield
Got a real nice surprise when this showed up this morning, was expecting the brand new recycle truck 815 to rock on up like usual (as has been the case since February this year) but instead our now oldest truck in the fleet serviced the yellow tops in Mansfield today. I must say as I have already gotten 738 three times on garbage and once on greenwaste back in March in Coorparoo before, I thought to myself wouldn’t it be nice one day if I could also get this truck on recycling as well to complete the list of all 3 of the waste stream collection services provided here in Brisbane. Well sure enough, my wish came true today! Also noticed over the other side of Mingera St that 809 has swapped a run with 806; spoke to Taffy in 806 straight after filming 738 this morning and basically because Dan, Shane, James and Honi have recently left, management decided to change a couple of the sub-contractor recycle runs up, so now 806 does 809’s run bordering 815 (or whoever else is put on if they make a last minute decision) in Mansfield every fortnight, and 809 now works in Oxley every fortnight bordering the Single Pass for garbage on Wednesday now.
