Heavenly Hanging Hibiscus

It was a gorgeous day to hike up the hills at the Limahuli Garden and Preserve on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. The garden encompassed 3/4 of a mile on 17 acres.

 

The guide book and numerous signs shared pertinent information about each plant. What a great way to learn about ancient Hawaiian plants and culture in the beauty of their natural surroundings.
