Pasting a photo in a comment
There are always new users joining flickr and I want to show them how to Copy and Paste a photo in a comment.
Step 1
Go to the (your own or someone else's) photo that you want to Copy and Paste.
Step 2
See the Share menu just above your beef pie photo? Click on it.
Step 3
From the dropdown menu, go to that box where the code is. Click anywhere inside the box, the entire code would turn blue (also called "highlighted"). Now, right click (i.e. press on the right button of the mouse) on the highlighted area.
Step 4
When you right click on the highlighted area from (3) above, another dropdown menu appears, move you mouse and choose COPY by left-clicking the word Copy.
Step 5
Now let's say you want to "paste" the beef pie photo onto your comment on the next "apple juice" photo. Simply go to the apple juice photo, go to the Comment area.
Step 6
Right click on the Comment area, the dropdown menu re-appears, this time, rather than choose Copy, choose the Paste menu. So, press the left button of the mouse to "paste" the code you saved back in (4). The entire code now appears on the comment itself.
Step 7
Voila! When you post the comment, the code would turn into the photo that you want to Copy and Paste!
It sounds complicated but it's very simple.
To summarise:
- Simply choose a photo that you want to Copy and Paste.
- Click on the Share menu.
- Click inside the box, it turns blue.
- Right click the blue area.
- Left click on the word Copy.
- Now go to another photo where you want to paste photo 1m to.
- Go to the Comment area as usual.
- Right click inside the Comment box.
- Left click on the word Paste.
- The code appears. When you Post Comment, the code shows up as photo 1.
