Banco di Sicilia
Banco di Sicilia (Bank of Sicily) became part of Banca di Roma in 1999. And in 2002, the entire banking group renamed itself Capitalia (quite a genius name -- combining the words Capital and Italia).
In 2007, UniCredit bought out Capitalia.
