A weather front
On our final full-day in Calgary, my wonderful friends Ben and Larry met with us once again. They took us to St. Patrick's Island, which is a 31-acre public park on an island at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers just northeast of Downtown Calgary.
Just as we were finishing the walk, Larry noticed a quickly approaching weather front and hurried us back into their car. No sooner than that the heavy downpour began! We were very thankful for his keen observation and quick action!
