Flying over the east coastline of Ireland
Examining multiple maps afterwards, I suspect our flight EI608 took off from runway 34 towards the northwest. Since we're flying southeast to Amsterdam, the Aer Lingus Airbus A320 made a sharp bank towards the east soon after takeoff.
I found an amazingly detailed map of Dublin Airport on-line.
