Materials and Process
MATERIALS:
-acrylic paint
(Pink, Purple, Blue, White, Green, & Yellow)
-white canvas (very thin in height)
-Filbert Brush
-Rigger Brush
-Flat Brush
-Glitter white gel
PROCESS:
First, I started by painting the background with a mixture of green and white to create a mixture of three ombre effects. I started with a light color on the bottom right corner of the canvas and uphill it started turning darker. Then, I painted three separate circles to create my base for the flowers and I created two different shades for each separate color such as the blue, purple, and pink by mixing in white. I used my Filbert Brush to create the flowers. Next, I dabbed a spot of yellow to the center of each flower. To add more detail, I used the flat brush to paint the leaves by mixing a mixture of two different greens. Once my painting finished drying, I finished it up with the glitter white gel to give it more of a detailed effect. Overall, I liked how my painting turned out and if I were to change something I would have added another base coat on the flowers.
