Claymarsh Outpost
"Within the westernmost reaches of the Claymarshes there sits an old fort, built of bricks from clay deposits for which the marshes are named. Goblins and other vile beasts have been known to attack the fort from time to time, undoubtedly wishing to control such a strategic position in the marshes."
Hello everyone!
I recently acquired 500 or so red 1x2 tiles, and I wanted to build a castle Moc based off of this element. Rather than pressing these tiles in all the way however, I decided to differentiate between the amount of pressure I applied to each individual tile, making some protrude from the wall at varying angles and distances. The result looks somewhat like a brick wall.
The biggest challenge with this build was actually to construct a surrounding environment that didn't clash to much with the vibrant red hue of the castle. I experimented with a few different biomes, including an ocean and a barren mountain slope, but eventually I settled on a cartoon-like wetland. The result is what you see above.
Thank you for reading!
I would love to hear your feedback!
Happy building and God Bless!
