East Yorkshire 769 - YX59 FGO
The leafy surroundings of Pearson Park have always been a draw for me for a good bus photo, and luckily enough, two buses I didn’t have were heading up that way on Thursday the 11th. Unfortunately, I was running on tight time, so I couldn’t get the one I came for in the first place, but this should supplement that unfortunate miss. The 103:105 livery is, sadly, a livery that is not long for this world, and will probably be replaced at some point with some unexciting plain route-branding, just like how the 66 ended up. Shame, but that's just the way things are now at East Yorkshire.
Coming down the leafy Princes Avenue with a Stagecoach bus on the 5 behind it, East Yorkshire's 103-and-105-branded 769, a 2009 Volvo B9TL Wright Gemini 2, is seen here passing Pearson Park on a 103 service to the University of Hull. Note the passengers in the top deck wearing face masks they had likely bought from Home Bargains - as of the day of this upload, you must wear a face mask or an equivalent face covering when going on the bus or other means of public transport. And I must ask - why only now?
