Second of my Stockholm's Summon Bigger Ship series is MS Gabriella, owned by Finnish shipping company Viking Line. It was built in 1992 in Brodosplit, Croatia, and first christened as Frans Suell in Malmö by Swedish opera singer Birgit Nilsson. The name Gabriella came up from public naming competition after its aquisition by Viking Lines in 1997. It has length of 171 m, 12 decks and can take 2420 passengers and 400 cars.
