Aftermath

The Bombed out, burned out Frankfurt Opera Building on a wintery day, 1958 Frankfurt Germany. During the War, Frankfurt was bombed so often that after a while raids stopped, there was nothing left. However, the Allies carefully avoided bombing key installations and buildings and after the war took over the massive German Military Hospital complex, and the IG Farben building which was used for the administration of what became western Germany.
