Getting the picture

So many get carried away

looking at the outside

seeing an image but

not getting the picture

Everyone likes being noticed

wants be good looking

and attractive and admired

beauty is but skin deep

and all skin age

and all ageing mature deeply

for all ages behold beauty

in the eye of the beholder

ageing with someone,

with a look in their eyes

seeing the message of being

attached and drawn

looking past the effects

of time and gravity

Loving you, not for

how you make him/her feel

but for how he/she feels about you

and the reward will be

because of that

you make each other feel good

It is not give to take

or take then give

it is give and take
