The general idea of the program is to bring the major national genetic materials to natural conditions (regional variability) and induced (local control) of water and thermal stresses. Expected in the second half of 2011 the planting of clones in several sites in Brazil, it will be like a traditional clonal test, but with plots with two levels of water restriction induced by the method of exclusion of rain. The program will try to identify the clones of the degrees of adaptation to different levels of stress, and it should be split from the viewpoint of forest improvement.
