Pigs in the wild. A pair of Gooty WDG4s haul a BTPN rake through the semi-ghat between Adarki and Wathar. These POL trains originate at Loni on the Daund line and travel to Miraj, with a reversal at GIT yard in Pune. To minimize the shunting movements in the busy GIT yard, these rakes invariably have a brake van at both ends. The BVZI on both ends also serves as the 'support wagon' to buffer the BTPNs in the event of a collision at either end. 10th December 2011
