Costume Documentations From "Karim At Jasmin" 002

I was recently contracted to shoot documentation photos of costumes by the designers for the play "Karim At Jasmin", which was performed last November 4 at the CCP. I had a designated area backstage where I set up my lights and had the players come in and pose for me when they were "available". Since we were shooting during the dress and technical rehearsal on the day before the performance itself. The lighting set up which I was afforded to have and play around with didn't quite turn out to be anything too phenomenal in my book. In addition to that, a miscommunication with one of the designers during the occular which I had set they day prior to my shoot; had resulted in me not having a proper back drop of sorts. I had requested for a cloth of some kind to be draped for me over the wall of the shooting area. Anyways, since this request failed to materialize, I've digitally made backgrounds for my photographs. Shame really if they had to go to waste just because the shooting environment turned out to be crappy. I had spent so much effort into lighting the scene and working with the actors. :)
