Ivy Broomrape flowers at Dawlish Warren .. a sort of "plant vampire" that feeds from the nutrients of ivy rather doing the job for itself. Actually quite common anywhere that ivy grows below and on walls or beneath hedges. Turns to a dark brown colour as the flowers die off and remains there into the Autumn.
