A lovely 1966 AEC Routemaster double-decker bus proved an entertaining ride on a relative’s wedding party down in London this weekend! This bus - 1966 London registration “JJD 390D” is quite well-known and heavily documented online. Having previously been painted green at some point, the bus received a full restoration and now provides transport for special events and parties. The bus ran well and was surprisingly comfortable sat on the top deck. According to the driver, the gearbox was an original semi-automatic, mated to a replacement Diesel engine.
