Fwd: Meet Mullaney
Hey, everyone! Some of you know that I adopted a little dog about a week
ago. Her name is Mullaney, and she is an eleventh month old Border Collie.
Mullaney had a rough start. She was kept in a barn by her owner up until
about a month ago. She was then sent to a shelter. A woman from a Border
Collie rescue took her out of the shelter and posted her on Petfinder. That
is where I saw her.
Some people thought I was crazy to drive all the way to Indiana to get her,
but she was worth every mile! Mullaney is very smart! She loves to play
Frisbee catch. At first she was afraid of it, but now she can't get enough
of it. She makes me throw it to her over and over. She also likes to hide
her head under the couch cushions.
I'm clicker training her. She already knows a few tricks. She is very food
motivated too. This made house training her a lot easier. Colleen, perhaps
you should give MaryClaire a dog biscuit every time she uses the potty.
It's working for Mullaney.
Well, enjoy the pictures. There are not too many outdoor pictures because
Mullaney is afraid to stay outside for long periods of time. We're working
on that. Aunt Sylvia, do you have any suggestions?
Hope everyone is well!
Much love!
Laura
