Words (or for that matter pictures) cannot capture the feel there, the vibe. I can't imagine what the experience must have been like for the first people to see it. To me, it was a very spiritual experience, like seeing the Grand Canyon was for me. I felt very small, but very connected - grounded to an extent. Mankind has built some amazing things - Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, the Pyramids - but something on the scale of Iguazu could only have been made by that (He) which made us.
