Austin Maestro Van
The 'Maestro' van was introduced in 1984. The 'Maestro' van was a replacement for the BL 'Ital' van (which had replaced the 'Marina' in 1980), and was initially available with a 1300cc petrol engine. It was available in '500' or 700' weight versions. A 2.0 litre diesel engined version was added to the range in 1986, again available in '500' or '700' versions. It was always badged as an 'Austin'. The Maestro was a victim of the sale of Rover Cars to BMW in February 1994.
