Glynwed Holdings were established in 1939 as a private company to acquire Glynn Brothers and the Wednesbury Tube Co. Over the years they diversified into many aspects of manufacturing, acquiring other firms such as Brickhouse Foundries, Dudley, in 1986. By 2001, the company had cut back and was renamed Aga Foodservice Ltd.
