In 2002, the peaceful field and hedge grown over the Bedford-Hitchin railway line, slashed in the Beeching Cuts, at the back of our married quarter in Borton Avenue at RAF Henlow, was torn up and building of houses commenced. Our peace was gone.
The large grey shed is part of RAF Henlow.
