What lies beneath… damaged rendering being removed from what will always be to people of my generation as “Deakie’s Shop” from Bryn Deakin who ran the shop with his father-in-law, the old Mr Fry in my childhood, when Penyparc was more usually known locally as “The Prefabs”.
