Just noticed today, that the Bron Afon Housing Association has applied for permission to build eighteen affordable flats with car parking and landscaping on the site of the old Rifle Club and adjacent public toilets in Ventnor Road. Both buildings have been empty for at least twelve years that I know of. Unsuccessfully offered for sale, the notice on the club eventually rotted away. Whatever they build cannot be worse than how it appears at the moment.
