From a collection of documents my brother had amassed, mainly connected to R Gordon Oliver, a Newport draper who died in 1934, and for the most part, concerned with the buying and selling, and recovery of debts; interesting social history. This is one of four involving a debtor who appears to have moved to the Kent Coalfield.
Oliver's sons were trading at Bromley House until at least 1946. Today, it is divided up into flats.
