Block Meerschaum Pipe Bowl 1972
Found when clearing out my brother's flat. When I was at HQ 1st Armoured Division based in Verden/Aller, I would often go up to Bremen on a Saturday, a short trip up to the coast by train. I bought this cased block meerschaum there as a Christmas present in 1972 for my father, a keen pipe smoker. Unfortunately the stem has long disappeared.
