ngc6888_HOS_fullmosaic_8bit
NGC6888 (The Crescent Nebula) and it's surrounding nebulosity in Cygnus.
This is a 4-panel mosaic image taken with narrowband filters mapped with RGB to H-alpha, Oxygen-iii and Sulfur-ii respectively.
Each panel consists of between 6 and 12 exposures of 5 mins each, with O-iii and S-ii binned 2x2.
Due to inconsistent numbers of frames in the panels, there's some colour artefacts visible around joints and some bright stars.
Camera: QHY23 mono
Scope: Takahashi E130
Focal length: 430mm f/3.3 per frame
Taken over 2 nights on 9/10 May 2017 from Cumbria, UK.
