Duck day! Day 212/365. 31-07-21
Had to be awake earlier this morning so obviously I barely slept at all because my brain seems to think that's how that works.
But! I got up about 7 so had about 3 hours to get ready for the train and I actually got to the station early for once without sweating buckets!
Met with Anna and we went on the treasure hunt for shoot locations that they had planned out! As we set off I saw a tired bee on the floor and moved it to a flower but it wouldnt leave my hand! Innearly had to take it with us XD
We went to a museum gardens first which was INCREDIBLE because the museum building was super large and weird and was a perfect McDuck Manor! We spent about an hour or so there cuz it was just such a great location!!! I gotta go back for other cosplays some time!
Then we walked down to the beach and had fun taking pics and building a sand castle, then we headed to the tropical gardens.
Bought some chips on the way and as we were waiting for them it started CHUCKING it down!!! So we were sat huddled on plastic chairs eating chips, I had my coat hood up and Anna had their umbrella blocking the majority of the rain, but I still got completely soaked!!
Luckily it was warm and my skirt dried before we started shooting in the tropical gardens!
Last location was a public garden that looked like a castle battlement, but we were pretty exhausted by then so didnt take too many pics XD
We signed each other's prop books, then headed for the 50 bus which was a terrifying open top ride, and managed to get back for Anna's train with 6 minutes to spare!
I grabbed some food from ASDA before getting the train back home. Had a look through the pics before bed. Completely exhausted now I feel like I'll sleep forever.
