It's been a while since I've seen a full rainbow, from end to end. You pretty much need to be in the right place at the right time to see any kind of rainbow, but to see it end to end like this, you need to have a little perspective. You have to be able to see the horizon, and in my world, most of the time both horizon and rainbow are usually obscured by trees and life.
I like to take the back road home. It takes a little longer, but the view is better. It takes me past ripening rice fields that wave in the wind, and across slow-moving bayous. It gives me a chance to listen to the radio and every now and then, I get something like this..
