Hot Springs, 1969..
You know what they say about pride going before a fall...To be honest, I don't know if this is me or Mike on the primitive 'boogie board', but whoever it is, is asking for it..
I'm (ahem..) 'leaning' toward it being me, because Mike would have been in the 6th grade in 1970..
We took a family vacation in 1969 or 1970 in Hot Springs, Arkansas (or maybe it was both..) where we stayed in an A-frame house on the lake, with free access to two boats. That's how we got Polaroid action shots of each other water skiing and riding the plywood 'knee board' all over the lake. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves, and we had a blast.
I can hear the sound of Jackie DeShannon singing "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" floating out across the still water even now...
