The Pierre Castel group, through BRAKINA, is the leading drinks distributor in Burkina Faso. This situation could, however, change given the success of the "Libs Sorgho" beer produced in a new brewery established by a promoter of Indian origin in 2019, as well as the establishment of new breweries planned for the short and medium term. The posters present some BRAKINA products with luxury beers such as Castel, Beaufort, and Guinness, also produced in other West African countries. The Coca-Cola license has since been withdrawn from BRAKINA, and another private developer now produces this drink in a new factory on the eastern outskirts of Ouagadougou.
