Dating from September 1947, and at the time of this photograph, RT 422 (BK) was the oldest vehicle in the fleet. It is captured here in Woodward Road, Becontree on the 62 and only a month earlier was the last bus to arrive back at Catford garage when RTs finished on the 94. Wednesday 20th September 1979. 4M-3.
