Ousted from BX by the arrival of DEL class electrics, E209 was transferred to Morden Wharf (MG) after service on route 486, 18th November 2025. Seven other class members (Es 204/205/208/210/225/227 and 247) also transferred. This came about to assist with the deckerisation of route 244.
