SSI Lighthouse
Saint Simons Island, Georgia is a place I grew up on and still visit with regularity. On a recent trip I really wanted a view that displayed the large Live Oaks that are all over the island. After some legwork, I decided on this massive tree with the iconic and historic lighthouse included. I waited for quite some time for the guy with the red shirt to land in just the right spot to use as focal point in the image. In the actual location there is a parking lot and tourists everywhere. I removed these in post.
