There is simply no way to explain certain artifacts found on this site. This piece was clearly manufactured using a sophisticated mold technology, and the extraordinary nature of this piece is how there are many questions that cannot be answered with a simple conclusion or answer. There is a thin ochre glaze coating embedded with images helping confuse the conclusion of this piece. After studying this piece for many years and finally using the premise that the stones and artifacts on this site represent concepts and representations of physical elements within our galaxy for the purpose of navigation and teaching; using this galaxy premise may be a mechanism to better explain the concept that this piece helps define the contours and physical geography of one of the physical arms of our galaxy.
This piece initially resembles a cross-section of ancient piping that fits together like pieces of a puzzle........The problem with this premise is: "Why would a developed civilization of high technology create a public water or drainage system of a ceramic nature, if they already had metal technology within their repertoire; Why would they compromise their water supply and drainage with inefficient kiln fired technology over metal??" Unless this culture was intelligent enough to rationalize a compromised technology based on raw material availability.....This is an extraordinary concept when considering that our most ancient North American Ancestors never held any of these technologies on any level. The precision curvature and smoothness achieved in this ceramic piece could have only been achieved by an advanced molding technique using metals or petroleum based materials like plastic or rubber; since this precision engineered curvature valve-like artifact also contains a pitch. Discounting cruder mold manufacturing techniques using clay or wood; these mold materials must be eliminated because of the smoothness of the artifact.. What was the material used to create the mold for this precision piece.....Metal???
When you carefully observe the surface of this piece; notice the ochre based translucent ceramic glaze holding micro images integrated with similar techniques of micro fragments helping integrate resilient images within the surface. This piece and its content is exactly why I have come to the conclusion that this piece may have been used and intended as a teaching tool for those who eventually found this mound and realized the content of the stones and artifacts. If this piece does not represent a cross-section analysis of an arm of our galaxy, I apologize ahead of time; in the case anyone is challenged on any level regarding this conclusion; North America, culture unknown.
