Second Year Coursework
These portraits are part of my second year A-level coursework project. For this page, I painted a standard portrait on the left, and a portrait in the style of the portrait artist Joshua Miels on the right. I found acrylic paint much easier to define the face shape, however harder to blend and get smoother colours. For the portrait on the right, I used oil paint which was much easier to blend but overall I found it harder to work with.
