Cyprus Airways

 

5B-DAH is taxiing to Riem’s runway 25 for take-off. I wonder what the man with the umbrella was doing next to the runway.

 

Information from airhistory.net - thanks to Fergal Goodman:

Built in 1978, this One-Eleven served with only two operators. In 1995 Cyprus Airways disposed of it to Nationwide in South Africa as ZS-NUI. It flew with that carrier until 2001 and was then stored. It is reported to have been broken up at Lanseria in 2005.
