There are many varieties of Spirea, and some boast the most beautiful red tones in the autumn, as is the case with the leaves of this particular shrub. In mid summer flowers range from white tones to deep pink tones. Be careful if you plant it as it can self-seed and the seedlings are deep rooted and can be difficult to remove.
