"everywhere matoke!" The extent to which Uganda is cultivated with food is impressive. The food at the roadside markets puts any farmers market or grocery store in the US to shame. The place is over flowing with banana, avacado, mango, tomato, matoke, potato, onion, coffee, tea, sorgum, maize, etc. Everyone wanted to talk to me about what we grow in the US and all I could think to tell them was " yellow corn"
