Starting my 3 months journey through UK, I'm taking advantage of a rainy day near Brighton to introduce you to the old pier, built from 1863 onwards.
Originally, it had several kiosks. In the early 20th century, the pier was converted into a theater seating over 1,000.
Unfortunately, in 2003, an arson attack destroyed the pier, and due to a lack of funds, it was never rebuilt...
