UP 4053 - SD70M
Built in August of 2000, UP 4053 was part of the first batch of UP's 1000-unit order of SD70Ms. After many years working in all sorts of roles, this unit has now found itself in storage at Congress Yard near Downtown Houston. And given the open hood doors likely mean copper thieves have been here, a return to service may be difficult, if unlikely, for this locomotive.
