Mutant orange

I bought some navel oranges last week, and imagine my surprise when one of them turned out to be quite a non-standard colour. The photo is actually pretty close to the colour it was, at least on my monitor. It tasted kind of "pink"ish too, whatever that means. Or maybe it was just my imagination.

 

EDIT: some googling indicates that it might have been a cara cara orange
