Broken Jaw
Almost sounds like an Indian name, doesn't it? Meg Puente and I were watching the least bitterns a couple of weeks ago when an alligator slowly swam towards us. This is the closest I have been to the alligator with the broken jaw. The off-balance of the teeth on the right of the jaw is very noticeable. It's been about 2-3 years now that he sustained this injury from a fight with another alligator. He's a trooper, but he does look distressed from the injury. And little Linda watched the 3+ hour long fight. No cropping on the two pictures in the comment boxes below and only 20% crop on this one.
