Is summer slipping by? #Red #FlickrFriday
The Panicle hydrangeas are turning pink with night temperature below 15, while All Summer Long hydrangeas are giving new buds. The David phlox and Enchinacea plants look spent, while the daisies are struggling to yield a second blooming. The Bougainvilleas refuse to yield a single bract but Black-eyed Susans spread carpets of gold. I am as confused as my beloved garden on what season we are in. But on this second last day of August, let's have a taste of Ontario peaches and nectarines while I hope summer still lingers.
