40117 Crewe.

Photographed by five of those trolleys that seem to be at every station on Br the one nearest is No 34, they must be in so many of my pictures, I wonder just how many of these thing's were on Br ?, and when did they vanish ?. Anyway the subject of this picture is of course the Class 40 it's 40117 it has just arrived with the Ecs for the 11:18 service to Llandudno you can see the shunter has left the tail lamp on the platform. The day started at Birmingham New Street where, 31204. 47328and 86249 were on view, then 86246 to Crewe, 25067/277. 47364. 86031/214/226. 87022. were seen at Wolverhampton. I was at Crewe from 09:00 to 15;00.
