Very Wet afternoon Chester May 1973.
My Girlfriend Lesley and I had spent a few day's staying with friend's in Bangor and were on our way back home to Birmingham, we had just got off a Dmu from Bangor, and standing in the station was Class 47 1955 + green Class 40 318 on a London Euston to Holyhead service, the weather was pretty grim with a thin drizzel you can see a railwayman walking up the track in the rain which I think help's ballance the picture. I allway's tried to take picture's in all weather condition's if possable some time's it worked some sometime's not, there were many failure's but I gave it a go. We then went to Crewe on a Dmu. where I took a few more picture's [ not up to much] before going home with E3050.
