Great day for Western's Reading August 1973.

It started at Birmingham New with Class 47 1547 to Reading, Loco's seen on the journey New Street, 192. 1740. 1844 1884. E3070,E3130. Tysley, 3956. 1925. Leaminghton 7603. Banbury 3968 1674. I would like to say I managed to photograph all of those Western's but no such luck, although I did take a lot of picture's that never to be repeated Summer Saturday. But luck was still with me as I had 1008 Western Harrier from Reading back to New Street. A truly Great Photografic day out KC. Above is 1001 Western Pathfinder with a London Paddington to Paighton service.
