Two Rocks

These boulders are on the south side of Pass Road in the Sutter Buttes and I liked the fact that both were probably once one large rock given the parallel planes of the sheared faces opposing each other. Their arrangement, along with the play of sunlight and shadows on the boulders against the dry grasses made me want to take this picture.
