RED WHITE AND BLUE IS BACK!!!
For the first time since being repainted, I got my first personal look at Amtraks new look on the GE P42s, Phase 7! These machines are painted in a Red white & 2-tone blue looking almost resembling to a “modern” Phase I-III look. As a long time Amtrak Fan, bringing back the RWB colors to the fleet is how it should be period and I smile at this!
Amtrak P42s 138 and 82 leads No. 6 into Naperville this afternoon. More of these P42s are to get the Phase 7 schemes as they’re shopped and serviced.
